Zero gravity position gets its name from the observations made on the neutral body position of astronauts at rest in space. Because astronauts endure intense and sudden increases in gravity while escaping the Earth’s gravitational pull, it’s important that they position themselves so that their bodies can deal with the increase in stress. By assuming a reclined position, astronauts distribute the stresses of takeoff across their bodies in a safe way. Massage loungers with zero gravity position capabilities emulate this by reclining the body with the legs above the heart level. This positioning evenly distributes weight along the length of the body and offers a plethora of health benefits to enhance one’s full body massage experience such as relieving stress off the spine and thus, helping with lower back pain, and improving sore muscles, posture, flexibility, and blood flow.

Unlike the more traditional basic 2D predecessors wherein massage loungers’ rollers simply went along the track in a straight line, Scape only provides 3D and 4D massage loungers to our customers to give them a more comprehensive full body massage experience.
In 3D massage loungers, the massage rollers protrude from the track and offer a more effective and adaptive massage experience. The massage has the ability to provide a deeper massage experience as well as provide you with more of a variety of techniques (stretch, Thai/Chinese massage, etc.) that help you customize your full body massage experience.
In 4D massage loungers, in addition to what is provided in 3D, 4D massage loungers add another element: adjustable speed and rhythm. This allows 4D massage loungers to accurately recreate the motions of an actual massage therapist! Furthermore, the best 4D massage loungers expand the range of massage areas, giving you a more full body massage lounger experience.
At Scape, we only use 4D and 3D massage loungers. Combined with body scanning technology, our loungers are able to pinpoint where your body may need the most attention and focus there. If you think that was good, the best part is that most of our massage loungers combine an advanced dual mechanism 4D/3D massage technology wherein you have 2 sets versus the more traditional 1 set of massage rollers (also termed as robotic hands in light of their close to human touch feel) that are massaging your upper and lower body simultaneously rather than sequentially as it moves up and down the L-track so you can experience the pinnacle of relaxation.
The term “S-track” massage lounger refers to the roller track design, which follows the natural S-shaped curvature of the human spine. As the rollers move up and down your body from the neck to the lower back following your spinal curvature, they’re able to maintain contact with your body at all times. An “L-track” massage lounger extends the frame further, allowing the massage rollers to continue beyond the lower back, down the glutes, and to the top of the hamstrings.
