Vibroacoustic therapy induces relaxation and reduces stress, making it beneficial for mental and emotional well-being.
The resonating frequencies of Vibroacoustic therapy penetrate deep into your body, soothing muscles, reducing inflammation, and easing pain (see below).
The combination of vibration and sound can help alleviate muscle tension and certain types of pain.
Vibroacoustic therapy regulates the limbic system (emotional memories) activating the "Relaxation Response" and reduces anxiety.
Some users report better sleep quality and reduced sleep disturbances following vibroacoustic therapy.
It can enhance the mind-body connection and promote a sense of harmony. May improve mood and mental clarity.

This technology is developed based on the recognition that external vibration can influence body function. Vibroacoustic Therapy (also known as VAT) is essentially a deep tissue low-frequency sound massage using audio waves in the range of 30 Hz-120 Hz that are being transmitted to the body by embedded transducers in a bed, chair or mat. The sound gently permeates the cells allowing massage from inside as well as out. Because our bodies are approximately 60%-70% water, water transmits sound and vibrations perfectly to our bodies making vibroacoustic sound vibrations 5x more effective because they travel through water, rather than air.
The vibrations stimulate nerve bundles along the spine, up into the brain stem and then through the limbic system (part of the brain that handles 3 major functions: emotions, memories and arousal). In addition, the sound stimulates the medulla in the brain stem and activates the auditory nerve that connects with all the muscles of the body. These reactions signal the body to relax and flood the brain with mood lifting chemicals. In addition, the low frequencies cause a relaxation of the tissues, a dilation of blood vessels and an opening of the lymphatic pathways, which in turn increases the body’s ability to achieve deep cellular healing mentally and physically. All this, in turn, reduces symptoms, invokes relaxation, and alleviates stress.
NOTE: Research on the therapeutic benefits of VAT is ongoing, particularly in the areas of relaxation, pain management, and sleep improvement. Also, VAT has been claimed to treat PTSD, anxiety, depressions, high blood pressure, COPD, etc. While many individuals report positive experiences in all these areas, more clinical studies are needed to establish its full therapeutic potential.
