OXYTHERM THERAPY Coming in February 2026!

What are Some Benefits of OxyTherm Therapy?

(based on published publications)

  • Stress Relief

    • Infrared heat combined with concentrated oxygen is known for promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress, and relieving tension in both the body and mind.

  • Pain and Inflammation Reduction

    • Enhanced circulation from infrared heat may help relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

    • This can support discomfort associated with muscles, joints, and chronic pain conditions.

  • Improved Blood Circulation

    • The combination of gentle heat and increased oxygen intake may enhance blood flow, supporting overall cardiovascular health and tissue recovery.

  • Increased Energy

    • Exposure to oxygen-enriched air during sessions may improve cellular oxygenation, helping to boost energy levels and reduce feelings of fatigue.

  • Detoxification

    • Infrared heat can encourage sweating, which may help the body naturally eliminate toxins and support the body’s cleansing processes.

  • Improved Recovery

    • Athletes/active individuals may experience faster muscle recovery, reduced soreness, and improved performance when using infrared/oxygen therapy regularly.

  • Skin Health

    • May help nourish the skin and support its natural barrier function, potentially improving texture and tone.

    • Infrared-induced sweating may help the body eliminate toxins and impurities that can accumulate in the skin. This process can help reduce pore congestion, leaving skin clearer and more radiant.

    • Some studies suggest that infrared heat may stimulate fibroblasts, which are responsible for collagen production. Improved collagen can enhance skin elasticity, firmness, and overall appearance.

  • Improved Sleep

    • Can provide a more restful sleep and reduced sleep disturbances.

  • NOTE: There is ongoing research into the therapeutic benefits of infrared heat and purer/higher oxygen concentrations. While many individuals experience positive effects, more clinical studies are needed to fully validate its therapeutic potential.

What is OxyTherm Therapy?

OxyTherm Therapy is a wellness therapy that combines full-spectrum infrared heat with concentrated oxygen to support relaxation, circulation, and overall vitality. This therapy works on the principle that infrared light penetrates deeply into the body, gently warming tissues, promoting blood flow, and encouraging detoxification through sweating, while supplemental oxygen enhances cellular oxygenation and supports natural recovery processes.

How is OxyTherm Therapy Delivered at Scape?

At Scape, we use a Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna equipped with the following features:

1) Full Spectrum Infrared Heat
This technology delivers a combination of near, mid, and far-infrared light, which penetrates deeply into muscles and tissues to promote blood circulation, support detoxification, relieve muscle tension, and enhance overall relaxation.

2) TDP Mineral Heaters
TDP mineral heaters—used in acupuncture clinics worldwide—release over 30+ valuable trace minerals/essential elements for the human body, including calcium, magnesium, and iron, infusing each session with nourishing ionic energy. These minerals/essential elements may help accelerate the reduction of inflammation, ease chronic pain, and support skin health from within.

3) Oxygen Concentrator (~85% Oxygen)
Supplemental oxygen is delivered in a controlled flow into the sauna during the session, supporting cellular oxygenation, boosting energy levels, and promoting faster recovery and mental clarity.

Through the combined effects of full-spectrum infrared heat, oxygen enrichment, and TDP mineral therapy, this treatment gently encourages detoxification, eases muscular tension, accelerates inflammation reduction, supports cardiovascular and cellular function, and promotes deep relaxation, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, revitalized, and nourished from the inside out.

Is OxyTherm Therapy Safe?

The OxyTherm Sauna we use at Scape is generally considered safe when used as directed. Sessions are non-invasive and designed to provide gentle heat and controlled oxygen enrichment for relaxation, circulation, and recovery. It is important to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and consult a healthcare professional if you have specific health concerns, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory issues, or are unsure whether this therapy is appropriate for you.

Are There Any Precautions to Take When Using a OxyTherm Therapy Sauna?

OxyTherm Therapy is generally well-tolerated, but individuals with certain medical conditions—such as cardiovascular issues, respiratory conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or recent surgeries—should consult with a healthcare provider before undergoing a session.
